Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose

Environmental sustainability with social impact

In the Mallee region, only 20% of people with a disability are participating in the workforce compared with 70% of people without an impairment. The Christie Centre is addressing this gap by using our Social Enterprises to create accessible work opportunities for people of all abilities in the Mildura region.

Your support helps to keep 22 supported employees in work earning an Award wage and 4 other people on pathways to employment. Plus for every $10,000 of profit, we are able to create a brand new part-time position for someone who may have never had a job before.

Environmental Impact

  • 140+ tonnes of paper recycled each year
  • 80 tonnes of household waste diverted each year
  • 3000 e-waste items tested each year
  • Excess materials reused, repurposed or recycled

Sales Shop

Receivals Station

Drive in and wait to be served by our friendly staff to donate your pre-loved goods. Accepting most house and yard items in clean, safe and working condition.

Open Monday to Friday 8:30am til 4pm and Saturday 9:30am til 3pm

Recycling of Materials

We always aim to resell, reuse or repurpose your donations. When this is not possible, we dismantle items and recycle the components through a metal recycler.

Secure Document Destruction

At AroundAgain Document Destruction we provide confidential and secure destruction of your documents. Our facility is under 24 hours surveillance to ensure confidentiality and security.

  • We are accredited by the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID)
  • We deliver lockable empty wheelie bins (120 or 240 litres) to your premises
  • You have the choice of flexible one-off or regular bin servicing arrangements
  • There is no need to remove clips, staples, rubber bands, plastic sleeves or spiral binding – We do the lot.
  • We offer an environmentally friendly solution, with all of the shredded paper being baled and forwarded to recycling centres reducing the waste stream by hundreds of tonnes per year.

Supported Employment

A fully inclusive employer of choice

Aroundagain is registered to provide NDIS-funded employment supports. If you have work in your NDIS plan, you may be able to undertake a pathway to employment and join the Aroundagain team, doing warehousing, sales, paper shredding and more.
